Blackwell Spotters attend S.A.F.E.

The Blackwell Storm Spotters attended S.A.F.E. in Stillwater Oklahoma on January 31, 2009.

Storm Awareness For Everyone was created by Stillwater Emergency Management department to help make the citizens of Stillwater and shrounding communites aware of severe weather and what they should do to protect themselves before, during, and after a storm.

The day kicked off at 10 a.m. with a display of storm spotter and emergency management response vehicles. After the vehicle show, the S.A.F.E. program began with presentations from John Utech and the Blackwell WeatherLab, Forrest Mitchell, OK-First, and Rick Smith from the National Weather Service Office in Norman, Oklahoma.
